In my ongoing follow up with Charles Carreon and his representation of the Arizona Yage Assembly in its case against DEA, Charles and special guest Greg Lake returned to offer 90+ minutes of news on latest case developments. AYA is at discovery stage and has asked DEA to supply information that appears on point but contentious. The case has also streamlined, some of the original plaintiff parties now withdrawn from the case. The case has a chance at modifying (improving) DEA behaviors toward psychedelic religions, especially in regard to the importation of sacrament (which DEA presently mires in red tape and interdiction).
