In this latest installment of Psychedelica Lex, I have the pleasure of interviewing fellow member of the Psychedelic Bar Association, Marc Goldgrub.

Marc is the founding lawyer at the boutique Toronto-based law firm Green Economy Law Professional Corporation. The firm specializes in work with green businesses and nonprofits, as well as parties operating in the health and psychedelic sectors. Through the firm, Marc also runs the website PsychedelicLaw.ca.

Marc holds a J.D. (Business Concentration) from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, and a Global Professional Master of Laws degree (Canadian Law in a Global Context) from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. He is admitted to the legal bars of Ontario and New York State. Before founding Green Economy Law Professional Corporation in 2020, Marc worked as a resident associate at the premier New York media and entertainment law firm Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks.

In our hour-long interview, Marc offers some eye-opening comparisons to where Canada is today on the question of psychedelics, as compared to the United States.
